KISHTWAR, Mar 16: Peop-les Democratic Party (PDP) today announced its office bearers for district Kishtwar.
The office bearers include Sheikh Nasir Hussain as president, Nazir Ahmed Shah as senior vice president, Ghulam Hussain Butt, Ashok Sharma, Jaffer Hussain Ganie, Mohd Iqbal Keen, Jaffer Hussain Babzada and Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh as vice-presidents, Ishtiyaq Hussain Waza and Abdul Kabir Butt as general secretaries, and Thakur Puran Chand, Nazir Ahmad Lone, Ghulam Hussain, Sujjan Singh Chauhan, Saif-ud-Din Sheikh, Shanti Saroop, Altaf Hussain, Masood Ahmad Mattoo and Joginder Bhandari as secretaries.
Other office bearers included Naseer Ahmad Bhagwan, Roshan Lal, Ghulam Rasool, Ch Qasim Din, Abdul Hamid Tak, Sajjad Hussain, Shahnawaz Shah and Ch Yaqoob as joint secretaries, Fida Hussain Waza as cashier, Tauseef Iqbal Butt as publicity secretary and Arshad Hussain Giri as zonal president, Kishtwar.
In a statement issued here today, PDP district president, Kishtwar, Sheikh Nasir Hussain, said that party president, Mehbooba Mufti has approved the list after recommendations made by party general secretary Mehboob Iqbal. He said that the presidents of different blocks of the district will be announced later.
