PDP- BJP coalition failed to address public issues: Mir

SRINAGAR, May 3: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president G A Mir today alleged that PDP-BJP coalition has miserably failed to address the burning issues of the people.
Addressing a meeting of Legislators, senior party functionaries, executive members, district presidents and others G A Mir accused the PDP-BJP Government of failing to address the issues confronting people in the three regions of the State. He said that their tall claims have proved hollow and they stood exposed in every field.
The meeting was held to deliberate and discuss the socio political developments due to wrong policies of PDP- BJP Coalition in the State, here today. It was presided over by JKPCC chief GA Mir. The meeting, threadbare, discussed the developments arising due to the misrule and wrong policies of the State Govt and expressed concern over the callous attitude of the Govt towards the basic issues concerning people.
PCC chief blamed both PDP and BJP for exploiting people by playing with their emotions on good governance drama being staged by them. He claimed that both the parties have lost the ground miserably.
Mr Mir said that Congress Party stands guarantee to the equitable development of all the three regions and the people. It will continue to serve the people to the best of it’s ability. Describing the PDP- BJP as two sides of the same coin, PCC chief castigated PDP for taking directive from the RSS and helping them (BJP & RSS) to implement their communal agenda in the State by dividing people on regional and religious lines.
Those who addressed the meeting included MLC Gulam Nabi Monga, MLA Haji Abdul Rashid Dar, Mohd Anwar Bhat, Amreen Badre, MLA Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Khemlata Wakhloo, Bashir Ahmad Magray, Farooq Andrabi, Gulam Nabi Mir Lasjan, Mohd Aslam Laigoo, Haroon Rashid, Shameema Iqbal and Abid Kashmiri.
