PDP-BJP Govt increased miseries of people manifold: Sadhotra

JAMMU, Aug 28: Senior leader of National Conference and former Minister Ajay Sadhotra today alleged that the PDP-BJP Government has totally failed on all fronts and miseries of the common people have increased manifold during this regime.
While addressing a public meeting at Chatha Gujran in Marh, here today, he said that the common people were facing lot of difficulties and there seemed to be a big gap between the Government and the common man.
On the occasion, several BJP workers from Chatha Gujran and Karloop, led by Sub Darshan Lal,   joined NC.
Mr Sadhotra expressed with dismay that the condition of main roads, link roads were ever worst and corruption was touching the sky. “The common people have no access to the system under various poverty alleviation schemes. The youth is being pushed towards wall and rising unemployment is creating frustration and alienation among youth. The problems of the farmers are also increasing day by day and nobody is there to listen to their problems,” he said.
The NC further alleged that the poor people have been deprived of their right to BPL whereas undeserving people are BPL and poor are APL. “It has become very difficult for the poor people to sustain as they have to purchase ration on APL rates,” he added.
The National Conference leader said that his party was committed to solve the problems of the common people and fight for rights of poor, needy and downtrodden people irrespective of their caste, creed and color.
