PDP-BJP Govt’s extent of failure shocking: Omar

SRINAGAR: Upping the ante on Peoples Democratic Party-Bharatiya Janata Party (PDP-BJP) coalition Government, former chief minister Omar Abdullah alleged that the extent of failure of this regime was shocking as there was absolutely no sign of basic governance in the State.
“The extent of failures of the PDP-BJP Government was shocking as there was absolutely no sign of basic governance in the State apart from the self-validated world of photo-shoots and press statements, Mr Abdullah, who is also the working president of National Conference (NC), said.

Mr Abdullah, who was reviewing the functioning of Primary Health Centers (PHCs) and Hospitals in Beerwah Constituency for the second day today, said during the tenure of the previous NC-led Government, the Health Sector was treated as a priority.

“We not only constructed new Primary Health Centers and Sub-District Hospitals across the length and breadth of this State but we also ensured that existing Government Hospitals are upgraded with the latest infrastructure and facilities. There is hardly any hospital that the previous Government did not upgrade,” he said. (AGENCIES)
