SRINAGAR, Oct 21: Describing prevailing situation in the State as very serious and worrisome, JK PCC chief G A Mir today said that PDP- BJP Coalition has failed to control the situation arising due to its (Coalition Govt’s) wrong policies and inherent contradiction in their approach towards the people of the State and regions.
“People of Jammu and Kashmir State have always respected sentiments and emotions of each other, maintained communal harmony and brotherhood; but the politics of exploitation by both PDP and BJP has badly affected socio- political scenario of the State,” PCC chief said while addressing a core group meeting of PCC functionaries here today.
The meeting discussed, threadbare socio -political developments witnessed in the State and accused PDP- BJP coalition of failing to control the situation arising due to its misrule.
He said that efforts are being made to vitiate the atmosphere of peace aiming to affect the age old tradition of brotherhood and secular fabric of the State.
Expressing serious concern over the deteriorating situation, Mir said that integrity of the State is in danger, but he felt confident that Congress Party being a responsible and constructive opposition would continue to fight against the forces vitiating atmosphere of brotherhood and peace in the State.
Terming the present prevailing situation as worrisome, PCC chief urged the mainstream political parties in the State to help and contribute in normalizing the situation in the State as the present deteriorating situation is going to haunt the State and people, very badly.
PCC president appealed the people to defeat the politics of communalism and the designs of other anti peace forces hell bent upon to create communal tension in the State to benefit their vested interests.
