BISHNAH, Apr 2: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat, Yash Pal Sharma today organised road show in different areas of Bishnah Assembly segment and interacted with cross sections of society.
During the road show, Mr Sharma covered Kool Kalan, Pocher, Chak Majra, Pandorian and Rehal villages of this Assembly segment. While seeking support of the people, Mr Sharma said that PDP is contesting Parliamentary elections to give voice to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He assured that unlike other political parties, PDP’s representatives would not remain as mute spectators in the Parliament. “We are committed to highlight people’s problems in Parliament”, he said.
“In the prevailing circumstances, PDP is the only party which has a vision and programmes under the dynamic leadership of Mufti Mohd Sayeed, and can give people a reliefs”, Sharma said.
He appealed the people to support PDP for the betterment of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Expressing his gratitude towards people of Bishnah for showing such love to him, Sharma assured the people that he would work for solving problems of the people.
Later, addressing public meetings at Shahpur, Chakra and Majuha, Mr Sharma cautioned the people against evil designs of Congress and NC as they are propagating divide and rule policy in the State to divert attention of the people towards their failure.
He said the only achievement of this Government is legalization of corruption, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has created a history by heading a worst ever corrupt Government in the State, he added.
Chatter Singh Saini, Som Nath Dogra, Yash Pal Bhagat, Satpal Singh Charak, Bablu Sharma, advocate Nitin Sharma also accompanied.
