PDP Cell shows concern over pilling of migrants’ problems

JAMMU, Jan 29: J&K PDP Minority Cell in its meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of A K Sidha has expressed concern over the piling up of problems of displaced people and failure of Relief organization in settling them.
The meeting demanded immediate implementation of PM’s employment package and conducting of the interviews and written tests for the candidates at Jammu.
The other demands highlighted included bifurcation of ration cards, inclusion of left over members, restoration of RBA certificates and monthly one time ration coupons, improvement in water and power supply in migrant camps renovation of quarters, providing of medical facilities, conducting of police recruitment rallies in camps, release of balance ex-gratia for houses and business units which have been set ablaze in Valley, releasing salary of migrant Anganwari workers pending for last two years and construction of family quarters for migrants employees in Valley and implementation of Central sponsored schemes for displaced people.
The meeting also extended full support to party chief Ms Mehbooba Mufti.
The meeting among others was addressed by M K Bhat (retd) DySP, Sunil Bali, Sahab Ji, D N Bhat, B B Sadhu, A K Dhar, M L Malla, Poshkar Nath and Nana Ji.
