JAMMU, Apr 25: Calling upon party workers to fulfill dreams of late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to set up a new system of justice and equality in the State, the newly appointed Mahila wing president of PDP, Vijay Dogra, today said that her party, under the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti, is committed to provide equal opportunities of growth and development to every section of the society.
Speaking in a function, here today, Ms Dogra said that policies and programmes of PDP are formulated by incorporating wishes and aspirations of every section of the society. She said that PDP is committed to provide equal opportunities of growth to women because socio-economic growth of females is must to ensure balanced growth in the society.
While seeking to draw attention of her party colleagues towards revolutionary schemes like Ladli Beti and Aasra launched by the PDP led coalition Government, she said that such historic schemes will go a long way in changing perception of the society towards the girl child.
