PDP discusses modalities for poll campaign

JAMMU, Oct 29: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today held a workers meeting in the Jammu West Constituency to discuss the modalities for the campaign.
The poll campaign workers meeting was organized by President Jammu West Puneet Jamwal. It was attended by MLC Yash Paul and  senior party leader and former Minister Rangeel Singh chaired it.
The meeting discussed the strategy for poll campaign and the party workers were asked to intensify the party activities on ground level and to establish constructive contact with general masses. They were also asked to hold public meetings on ward levels.
MLC Yashpal Sharma  said that despite running a coalition Government in the State, both Congress and N C have divergent views on important issues. “It was all due to the lack of consensus between the two coalition partners that functioning of the Government has been virtually stalled.
Rangeel Singh expressed satisfaction over the fact that ‘PDP’s agenda of development was now seen positively not just in Kashmir Valley but in Jammu and Ladakh regions also’. “It is really a matter of satisfaction for the Party that people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh regions have connecting themselves with PDP and this Party has earned credibility and faith of the people of all regions and sub-regions of the state”, he added.
R.K. Bali  said that present Government had betrayed educated unemployed youth of the State. He reminded that NC during 2008 Assembly elections had promised to formulate a comprehensive policy to create job avenues for youth but the promise remained only on papers.
Puneet Jamwal said that this is right time , when a joint effort of all party workers is required to uproot this corrupt system from the State.
