KISHTWAR, May 12: People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Youth president Kishtwar, Mohammad Umar Malik, today launched a scathing attack on National Conference (NC) leadership over various unfulfilled promises made by them with the people of Kishtwar.
While addressing a press conference here today, Malik said that all the promises made by the National Conference MLA in last two sitting has yet to see the light of success in last over 11 years.
He said every developmental institution in Kishtwar district, whether they are schools and college, has fallen prey to shortsightedness of local NC leadership which only thinks about developing their own assets at the cost of the development of the district.
“They have promised the people that they will provide them regular drinking water supply from Naigard Canal but till now this prestigious water supply scheme remains a distant dream for the people of Kishtwar district” said Umar Malik.
Similarly, on the name of Kishtwar-Marwah-Dachhan Road, NC leadership of Kishtwar has been befooling the people of Marwah on the name of Wild Life as a result of which the road project is still lingering for last over three decades, he added.
