SRINAGAR, June 15: Political Secretary of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Tanvir Sadiq today lashed out at People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for hoodwinking youth with hollow slogans and utopian dreams.
He said this while interacting with various youth delegations.
Sadiq said that PDP is suffering from self–inflicted situation, all they have done against the State, from weakening the special status to installing and imposing AFSPA is open to public scrutiny and they cannot shy away from all their wrongdoing.
He said that the Delhi based doctor and PDP’s Chief National Spokesman instead of defending his ailing party should concentrate on how his party will face the wrath of the people who are aware how this party fomented violence in the wake of Amarnath land row agitation resulting into death and destruction.
“These power hungry politicians should explain their role in the Amarnath land row agitation of 2008” asked Sadiq.
“Its proven beyond doubt that Amarnath land row was PDP’s brain child to divide the State on communal lines” he said, adding that they are so bewitched with Gujarat Chief Minister Narinder Modi that it will not surprise anyone if they merge their PDP into their parent party the BJP”.
PDP should accept all the charges and apologize to the people of the State or agree they have no answer for their anti–State politics and the dirty role they have played all along”, asked Sadiq.
