SRINAGAR/JAMMU, June 9: Patron of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and president of the party, Mehbooba Mufti have condoled the sad demise of Satyla Devi, wife of late Thakur Balwant Singh and mother of Thakur Balbir Singh, General Secretary of the PDP. Satya Devi passed away at Jammu this morning after brief illness.
According to the family members, cremation of late Satya Devi would be held on the bank of river Uajh in Mandli village of Billawar on June 10, 2013 (Monday) at 12.30 pm.
In their condolence message Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti have expressed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the peace of departed soul.
Meanwhile, condolence meetings were held at PDP office at Srinagar and Jammu to condole the sad demise of Thakur Balbir Singh’s mother. A two minutes silence was observed in the meetings for the peace of departed soul. Those present in meetings also expressed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
