PDP leaders lambast NC-led Govt

JAMMU, Nov 15: PDP leader and coordinator for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency, Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that Governance deficit has retarded development in J&K  due to which the State was not able to catch up with pace of progress in rest of the country.
“We are lagging far behind in development which is causing unrest amongst our educated youth and resulting in brain drain, he said adding that the need of hour is better governance, transparency and accountability which was only possible if PDP is voted to power.
Addressing a meeting of Dansal block in Khanpur Nagrota, attended by PDP leaders of zone, block and youth wing,  Choudhary Hamid resolved to support party candidate Yash Pal Sharma who is contesting from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency and said time has come for people to exercise their right of franchise and send deserving candidates to the Parliament.
Others who spoke on the occasion and  resolved to support party candidate Yash Pal Sharma, included Abdul Rashid Malik, Kuldeep Sharma, Rashpal Singh, Haji Shah Malik, Ch  Hussain, Balwan Singh, Lal Chand, Sultan Mohammad Malik, Ranjeet Singh, Baldev Singh, Suram Chand, Ajeet Sharma,  Ch Razak and Ch Mir Hussain.
These PDP leaders decided to begin series of meetings at block and Panchayat levels to seek support for Yash Pal Sharma.
