JAMMU, May 21: J&K PDP Migrant Cell in a meeting at Party Headquarters here, today appealed the displaced people from Anantnag and Kulgam districts of Kashmir Valley to vote for party candidate Mehbooba Mufti in the ensuing elections.
The appeal was made by Sunil Bhat president J&K PDP Migrant Cell. The meeting was attended by the activists and leaders of the party from displaced Pandit community.
He said Mehbooba Mufti during her recent meeting with the Kashmir migrants unfolded her party’s policies and programmes for welfare and rehabilitation of Kashmir migrants. Bhat said Mehbooba Mufti is the only candidate who visited KPs seeking their vote. The meeting was also addressed by R K Pardesi, state secretary of the Party. He said the Mehbooba Mufti deserves the vote of migrants as she is a strong voice of the people of all communities of J&K.
Bharat Bhushan, Ravindra Jamwal, D N Bhat, R K Koul and Manoj Koul also addressed the meeting.
