JAMMU, July 15: A delegation of PDP Minority Cell led by its President AK Sidha called on Relief and Rehabilitation (Migrants) and apprised him about the problems being faced by the community.
The delegation also apprised the RC about their meeting with the Minister for Relief, Rehabilitation and Revenue regarding their day to day issues.
The issues they projected included timely reimbursement of monthly cash assistance to the relief holders, timely supply of ration to relief holders at camps and non-camps, supply of ration on cash to migrant Govt employees, simplification of bifurcation process of migrant families, hastle free issuing of state subjects and migration certificates with logical submission of documents and enhancement of relief benefits.
The Relief Commissioner assured the delegation that their problems will be solved at an earliest on priority.
