PDP, NC, JKPM join hands for vested interests: Suri

JAMMU, Aug 3: “Regional parties like Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), National Conference (NC) and J&K People’s Movement (JKPM) have all joined hands for their vested interests but are maintaining a criminal silence over nefarious designs of Pakistan that threatens safety and security of pilgrims. This silence is criminal in nature and exposes these self-centered political outfits that are spreading panic amongst commoners for their own wrongs done in the past”.
This was stated by Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), State Executive Member of BJP, Raman Suri who added that recovery of a landmine with marks of a Pakistan ordnance factory and a US made rifle among the cache of arms from one of the yatra routes in Kashmir is so alarming that these political outfits should have shown their outrage against Pakistan and condemned it for aiding and abetting terrorism.
However, these regional outfits chose to stay mum and instead started creating panic by creating midnight dramas. Raman Suri said that at a time when Pakistan is hell bent upon disturbing peace in Kashmir by making attempts to attack the Amarnath Yatra, these politicians like Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti or Shah Faesal should have univocally supported search operations of army and paramilitary forces but chose to speak the language of separatists.
He added that still unfortunate is that NC and PDP likes are creating panic in the Valley instead of supporting the Government in flushing out militants.
Knowingly that Pakistan backed terrorists had planned attack on yatra to harm pilgrims, these politicians should have openly supported soldiers, appreciated their swift action and complimented union and State Government in taking an appropriate action. These politicians stand exposed and now have lost respect even in their own cadres, Suri asserted.
