PDP seeks support for its candidate

JAMMU, Nov 6: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader and coordinator for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency, Abdul Hamid Choudhary today sought support of people for PDP candidate Yash Pal Sharma and said that sanctity of democratic institutions has been eroded which needs to be strengthened.
This, he said, can made be possible only when PDP’s policies and programmes are implemented in the State and administration made accountable and transparent.
Addressing public meetings at Khanpur Nagrota and Kahpota in Dansal and Nagrota today, Choudhary said that time has come to bring back the era of development, peace and prosperity that had taken Jammu and Kashmir State to new heights during the regime of party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
The Governance deficit, he said, was biggest hurdle in the socio-economic development of our State which needs to be bridged.
He asked party leaders and workers to strengthen the hands of party chief Mehbooba Mufti and spread programmes and policies of party in every nook and corner of the State.
