Peace in Kashmir not possible without lesson to Pak: Shiv Sena

JAMMU, July 14: Shiv Sena J&K chief, Manish Sahni has demanded a tough and befitting lesson to Pakistan to restore peace in Kashmir.
Leading a protest of Shiv Sena workers here today against terrorist attack on police party at Lal Bazar in Srinagar in which a police officer has been martyred, Sahni said that seven decades have passed for people of J&K waiting for the return of PoJK.
He said, after abrogation of Article 370 & 35A, Prime Minister Modi and the Union Home Minister had promised to take back PoJK.
The protesters raised anti-Paksitan slogans.
Sahni quoted figures by Union Ministry of Home Affairs to claim that till June 2022, out of the terrorists operating in Kashmir, 82 were of Pakistan origin.
He said that targeted killings in Kashmir have created panic among minorities as well as majority community of valley.
The Shiv Sena leader said, before Pakistan hands over areas of Gilgit-Baltistan to China to clear debt, PM Modi should take back PoJK and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Raj Singh, Shashi Pal, Naresh Kumar, Mangu Ram, Pawan Kumar, Meenakshi Kotwal and others were also present in the protest.
