JAMMU, May 16: Bakshi Nagar Police today arrested a peddler with 120 grams of heroin.
“A team of Police Station Bakshi Nagar led by SDPO West Vikram Singh and assisted by SHO Bakshi Nagar Inspector Rakesh Sharma under the supervision of SP City North Kulbir Handa while on naka duty at Pawan Ice Cream, rounded up a suspected person identified as mohit Sharma son of Deen Dayal, resident of Maralia (RS Pura) and on search, recovered 120 grams of heroin from his possession,” a police spokesman said.
He said a case under FIR Number 68/2023 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered in this connection at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and the accused arrested. Further investigation of the case was going on, the spokesman added.
