REASI, June 6: A pedestrian was knocked to death by a speeding water tanker at Fawwara Chowk, Katra.
According to Police, the water tanker number JK02AB- 5172 hit Saraj Din, son of Din Mohd of Bhaga Reasi when he was walking on the roadside, resulting into his on the spot death.
Police has registered a case in this regard and seized the vehicle besides arresting its driver.
Meanwhile, a bike riding Forest Department employees was injured when his motorcycle was hit by a minibus at village Kheral in Pouni. The injured was identified as Aman Sharma (25), son of Vijay Sharma of Ward number 4, Ram Gali, Reasi. He was admitted to DH Reasi for first aid.
