Pedestrian held with illicit liquor

JAMMU, Aug 10: Keeping hawks eye over sale of illicit liquor, Khour police arrested a bootlegger.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Khour police station laid a naka and intercepted a pedestrian on suspicious grounds.
During checking, police recovered 15 pouches of illicit liquor and arrested the bootlegger on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Kamal Kishore, son of Chura Ram of Khour.
A case under FIR Number 54/15 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered against the accused at police station Khour and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Khour police station SI Mohammad Iqbal Chagatta made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Naresh Singh and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajeev Pandey.
