UDHAMPUR, Mar 8: Angry mob set a minibus on fire following death of a pedestrian and critical injuries to another one by a same rashly driven vehicle, here last night.
Reports said that one Ajay Kumar ( (17), son of Suram Chand of Lari in Udhampur and Sunil Singh (18), son of Faqir Singh of Jaganoo Morh, were hit by a rashly driven minibus JK02CE-3066 near Jaganoo Morh, late last night. Driver of the minibus fled along with the vehicle while the injured were rushed to hospital where Ajay Kumar succumbed to his injuries.
In the wee hours this morning, the same minibus was found parked somewhere near Jaganoo. The angry mob, which was looking for the vehicle, set it on fire.
Police has registered a case in this connection.
Meanwhile, a young man was found dead under mysterious circumstances near Parshotam Hall, Barian, here today. The deceased has been identified as Raj Kumar (32), son of Thakur Dass of Madha, Chenani.
