KATHUA, Aug 13: A pedestrian was killed on the spot when he was run over by a truck late tonight at Kalibari.
According to police spokesperson, the mishap occurred at about 9.30 pm while pedestrian was crossing the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway road at Kalibari.
The body of the deceased identified as Nidhan Singh (55) son of Nand Lal, resident of Chack Desa, Kathua, was shifted to mortuary room of District Hospital, Kathua for conducting post-mortem tomorrow.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
