JAMMU, Oct 27: A pedestrian was killed in a road mishap in Shahpur area falling under the jurisdiction of police post Pounichak.
According to a police spokesperson, the pedestrian identified as Sham Lal (40), son of Om Prakash, a resident of Choala in RS Pura, was killed on the spot after being hit by a rashly driven bike at Gho Manhasa, late last night.
The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for conducting post mortem.
A case in this connection has been registered at concerned police station and further investigations are underway.
