Peer wins Shopian growers’ polls for second time

SRINAGAR, Sept 20: Mohammad Amin Peer has been elected as Shopian Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association president for the second time in the polls which were conducted after the gap of 15 years.
Peer defeated Farooq Ahmad Khan in the elections.
Soon after his win, Peer addressed the growers in a convention and assured them that he would continue to work for their benefit and empowerment. He said that he will take up the issues that are being faced by growers with concerned authorities in the Government for their quick redressel.
