JAMMU, Feb 22: Provincial Electrical Employees Union (PEEU) today projected the burning issues of the PDD workers.
In a meeting of the Union held here today under the chairmanship of PC Sharma, its president, the members projected the burning issues of the workers. The main issues included, regularisation of casual labours, need based and daily rated workers; release of pending wages of 3405 casual workers, uploading of left over 791 workers at NIC portal, resolve seniority issue, creation of new posts and to provide insurance cover to the PDD workers.
The meeting was also attended by trade unionists-Shesh Kumar, Abdul Gani, Balwant Singh, Farooq Ahmed, Sher Singh, Sampuran Singh, Mohinder Pal and others.
