PEEU warns agitation in case discrimination continues

JAMMU, May 8: Provincial Electric Employees Union (PEEU) in a meeting here today warned the authorities not to force them to launch agitation.
The meeting which was chaired by president of the Union P C Sharma while discussing the demands expressed concern that the authorities have failed to fulfill the commitments made with the Union representatives in the recent meetings.
The meeting highlighted the issue regarding implementation of SRO 59 in PDD divisions of Jammu region.
The other issues highlighted by them included retrospective effect be given to already regularized daily wagers,  conducting of DPC at all level, vocation of stay to conduct DPC from Tech III to Tech II, correction in misappropriation in the seniority list Tech IV of Jammu district.
The meeting alleged that all the officers including Chief Engineer were dodging implementation of SRO 59, SRO 64 of 1994 which have been fully implemented in Kashmir valley.
PC Sharma in his address warned that in case this discrimination will not end with the PDD employees of Jammu region they are left with no option but to launch agitation.
