JAMMU, Feb 16: A deputation of J&K Industries Pensioners Welfare Association called on Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo the other day and projected their issues.
Led by Mir Mohd Ashraf, secretary general of the Association the deputation including members from civil society, submitted a memorandum to the Chief Secretary with charter of demands. Their main demands include- enhancement of Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month, release balance leave salary and pay arrears of the pensioners, release post retirement dues of J&K Cements retirees and regularization of retired Gazetted officers in Education, Engineering and other departments.
