KATHUA, Sept 17: Pensio-ners Welfare Association here today has demand enhancement of medial allowance for pensioners from Rs 300 to Rs 3000 per month.
In a meeting of the Association chaired by its Cashier, S. Amrik Singh the pensioners also demanded that the seventh pay commission arrears should be released in one go in favour of the pensioners as they are in urgent need of money.
They also demanded enha-ncement of pension benefits.
Prominent among those who were present in the meeting were Dilsher Singh, Saran Singh, Dewan Chand, Amrik Singh, Khushi Ram and others.
