KATHUA, May 29: A meeting of Pensioners Welfare Association, Kathua was held here under the chairmanship of its general secretary Dilsher Singh.
President of the Association, Amar Nath Dogra, while addressing urged Finance Minister to release 6% DA installment due from January this year in favour of State Government employees and pensioners. He also demanded enhancement of Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month.
He further stated that widow pension along with disability persion may also be enhanced in the State on the analogy of other States of India.
Those present in the meeting were Khushi Ram, Dewan Chand, Soha Lal, S Amrik Singh, S Tara Singh, Saran Singh, Shambu Nath Verma, Des Raj Verma,Vimla Dutta and others.
