JAMMU, Nov 4: J&K State Pensioners Association has demanded release of 4% DA installment due from July 2023 and enhancement of Medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the chairmanship of Krishan Singh, its president, the members strong resentment over the delay being caused by the Government in releasing 4% DA installment of the J&K Government employees and pensioners. They alleged that Government has failed to enhance the Medical allowance of the employees and pensioners up to Rs 1000 per month at par with the Central Government employees.
Singh also raised the issue of non- release of GPF and Gratuity of the retired employees. He said such employees are suffering badly due to non payment of their dues.
