JAMMU, Aug 18: The pensioners from JKSRTC/ GTU have demanded release of 6 % DA and enhancement of Medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month.
In a meeting of the pensioners held under the banner of JKSRTC/ GTU Pensioners Welfare Association Jammu, the members discussed their pending demands in detail. Ajit Singh Adyal (chairman) and other speakers expressed serious concern over the delaying tactics of the Government. They alleged that Government has failed to address pending issues of the employees and pensioners.
They demanded release of 6% DA, enhancement of Medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month, issuance of formal orders for payment of outstanding arrears of 6th Pay Commission to JKSRTC/ GTU pensioners, payment of arrears of HRA/ CCA and removal of pay anomalies.
