MENDHAR, July 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Pensioners Association has urged upon the J&K UT administration to release the pending DA installments in favour of Government employees and pensioners without any more delay.
In a press statement issued here today, Madan Lal Abrol, general secretary of the Association said that Government must review its decision with regard to freezing of the DA installments of the employees and pensioners. He said the pensioners are facing lot of problems due to sky rocketing prices of essential and other commodities of daily use and moreover, Covid-19 has also caused much impact on the economic condition of all the people.
Abrol urged upon the Lt Governor G C Murmu to release the pending DA installments of employees and pensioners and also increase the Medical Allowance of the employees and pensioners from existing Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month.
