We, the pensioners of State are surprised why the J&K Govt has upheld the DA from Jan 2015 to its pensioners and to its employees, although the provision of instalment is in the budget. The low paid pensioners of State are getting Rs 300 Medical Allowance per month which is so low that it is not sufficient for even purchasing of medicines. Pensioners and also employees request the Govt to raise the Medical Allowance from Rs 300 per month to at least Rs 1000 per month.
Hope the Finance Minister of J&K State will be kind enough to pensioners and will release the DA and raise the Medical Allowance without any further delay.
