JAMMU, Nov 28: A meeting of Displaced Pensioners Welfare Association (DPWA) was held under the chairmanship of Roshan Lal Raina here, today in which many problems of pensioners were discussed.
The meeting said that despite Government’s announcement the pensioners don’t get pension on 28th of every month. The meeting also demanded that pensioners and employees Medical Allowance be hiked to Rs 3000 per month.
It demanded that the pensioners should be covered under Health Insurance Scheme and demanded that the Government should concede these demands immediately.
