Seventh Pay Commission has been implemented in the State of Jammu & Kashmir w.e.f 0.01.2016 but the pensioners pay fixation by the Accountant General is still pending in most of the cases, with the result, the pensioners are suffering a lot. The delay in fixation is attributed to large number of cases.
It is suggested that the concerned departments of the State have qualified Accounts cadre deputed by the Finance Department who in turn should be authorised for revised pay fixation of pensioners and further authentication by A. G. Office. This will not only ease out the problem of Accountant General office but the pensioners too will heave sigh of relief and their problems will be resolved.
