JAMMU, Oct 10: In a meeting of All J&K Pensioners and Civil Society Association chaired by S. Ajit Singh Adyal, Association President, various demands of the pensioners were discussed.
Speaking in the meeting N.D Sharma, General Secretary of the Association demanded removal of disparity in pension payment of one rank one pension payment formula caused due to different types of qualifying service pension categories.
He also demanded release of pension arrears from the year 2016, increase in medical allowance and health insurance scheme for pensioners.
Sharma further said that pensioners who have worked in higher pay scales are getting pension of lower pay scale due to non-regularisation of their services in higher pay scales.
