People of 10 districts to raise Jammu State demand: Mankotia

UDHAMPUR, Oct 28: Launching the decisive campaign, former MLA and NPP president, Balwant Singh Mankotia claimed that first time people of  ten districts of Jammu region will unitedly raise the separate Jammu State demand for its logical conclusion.
The campaign started for separate Jammu state under `Haq Insaaf Yatra’ by NPP has covered ten districts of Jammu province and now the party has resolved to raise the demand vigorously.
Addressing the party workers at NPP office Udhampur today, NPP president BS Mankotia said that Haq Insaaf yatra started for separate Jammu State to seek right and justice has reached Panchayat level in 10 districts of this region and would conclude on  November 6  with the holding a large rally at Jammu.
Mankotia informed that party workers   and leaders have covered each nook and corner of the Jammu region and addressed 550 Panchayats in last six months and made people aware about the Haq Insaaf Yatra started for separate Jammu State demand for Jammu region. During this campaign, he has constituted Panthers Statehood Committees in Jammu region for launching an aggressive movement to achieve the goal.
NPP leader said that to achieve separate Jammu State demand, first time people from all walks of life from ten district of Jammu region including Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and Christians will sound the bugle of agitation in Jammu province so that they can elect their own Jammu Chief Minister for Kashmir has its own.
“If  neighboring States Punjab and Harayana has their separate Chief Ministers and same Governor and this practice can be possible in J&K for equitable development of all three regions,” asserted Mankotia.
He appealed the people of Udhampur to participate in the upcoming large rally on November 6 at Jammu in  large number.
