People should be cautious from ‘opportunists’: Manohar

BILLAWAR,  Dec 1: Minister of State for Forest and Cooperatives, Manohar Lal Sharma  has appealed the people of his constituency to remain cautious from the opportunist politicians.
Recalling the number of achievements he has made in  Billawar constituency, Mr Sharma said he is confident that the Congress party would emerge victorious with majority in the forthcoming Assembly elections.
Addressing public rallies  at Sukrala, Dewal, Dadwara, Phinter, Bhaddu and Kohag today, the Congress candidate said that he has fulfilled his promise and brought the administration at the door-steps of common man by providing  new administrative units like Tehsils, Blocks, Niabat etc. for the benefit of common masses. People, especially living in far flung areas, have been fully empowered.
He said that new Degree colleges, a number of new Higher Secondary schools and many Primary schools were opened  during last one decade. With commissioning of a number of major water supply schemes, people are getting safe drinking water. The whole constituency  is connected through a network of roads and bridges. “My next mission shall be to black top all the roads and to provide ample employment opportunities to youth of the constituency,” he added.
Mr Sharma lashed out at PDP,  BJP and NC politicians and described them as opportunists who are misleading people by making false promises. “You  people should remain cautious from those opportunist politicians who have launched propaganda. They were earlier defeated by the voters and this time also they will be rejected,” he said.
