SRINAGAR, Nov 28: National Conference provincial president and Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Amira Kadal, Nasir Aslam Wani has said that PDP ruthlessly and contemptuously ditched Congress in 2008 to cover its own guilt for the party’s involvement in the Amarnath Land Row issue.
Wani added that PDP Patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s desperate attempt at imposing a misplaced guilt of neglect on the Congress after impulsively announcing a unilateral divorce with the party in 2008 is astounding and points at the growing sense of marginalization being felt in the PDP rank and file throughout J&K.
Provincial president said that people of all three regions of J&K were conscious of PDP’s noxious politics of division and fragmentation and would oust the party even from the opposition benches in the coming elections.
Nasir asked the people of the entire State to safeguard the extraordinary unity that has been preserved and secured from such communal and divisive forces right from 1947.
