DODA, Sept 25: People have demanded blacktopping of the main road connecting Sub District Headquarters Gandoh.
The road connecting Sub District Headquarters Gandoh is in deplorable condition since long and no one from the administration is bothered about it.
The commuters have to face tough time while communicating on this road.
While talking to the EXCELSIOR, the people narrated their ordeal, which they face due to deplorable condition of the road.
They said that the road connecting Sub District Headquarters is in dilapidated condition since long, but no one from the administration has taken any step to get the road repaired.
Due to casual approach of the concerned authorities, the commuters are facing lots of problems, they added.
There is no proper drainage system on both sides of the road, the locals added.
Several times the concerned department was approached for the blacktopping of the road, but our pleas fall on deaf ears, they alleged.
They appealed to the Lieutenant Governor of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha to direct the concerned department for blacktopping of this road, so that the commuters have some sigh of relief.
