SAMBA, May 4: Tall claims of the Government of providing road connectivity to each and every village proved failure, as there are many such villages where there is no road connectivity.
In this district, people residing in hilly and backward areas are facing manifold problems including dilapidated condition of roads.
The road condition from Utterbeni to Anandpur is in dilapidated condition and Government is not giving any heed in this regard compelling the people to come on roads.
The people have to travel a long on foot as vehicular movement on this road is very low.
The inmates residing in various villages on Utterbeni to Anandpur approached district administration and MLA various times but no action has been taken for the convenience of the masses.
One of the resident alleged that the Government is announcing their major achievements in favour of people including availability of drinking water, education, health, power, road connectivity etc, but on ground level there is nothing.
People of backward and far-flund areas are still deprived of basic facilities, he added.
The residents appealed for restoration of Utterbeni to Anandpur road at the earlier for the convenience of the people.
