SAMBA, Feb 26: A protest was held at Bari Brahmana against the suspension of then SHO Bari Brahmana Bharat Bhushan Sharma.
Amid slogans, large number of people assembled at Bari Brahmana and blocked the vehicular movement on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway. The protest was led by Pawan Bakshi, Block President, BJP, Vijaypur.
The protesters demanded immediate action against the land grabbers and revocation of SHO’s suspension order to boost the morale of the police personnel, so that they can deal with Saroor like situation without any fear.
Later, senior police officials rushed to the spot and pacified the protesters.
