Modi Govt’s policies attracting people to join BJP: Raina

JAMMU, Jan 30: BJP J&K president, Ravinder Raina said that the policies adopted by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi-led BJP Government at the Centre have been attracting people in large numbers to serve the society better.
“Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the Government has ensured unprecedented development across the country and the benefits of innumerable welfare schemes launched by the Government has reached to the last man. It was Modi’s visionary decisiveness that saved millions of lives during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Raina.
Addressing a function at party headquarters Trikuta Nagar today where large number of people including political activists from Jammu East joined the party Raina said Jammu and Kashmir has particularly reaped the maximum benefit, with Modi Government laying special emphasis on the welfare of its citizens.
“The Jammu and Kashmir has seen a colossal wave of development under the BJP Government. The poor in the Union Territory have particularly been benefitted with a plethora of welfare schemes. It is the faith in the BJP leadership that these people have joined the party today. I welcome them with open arms and hope that together we will work sincerely towards nation building,” said Raina.
Welcoming the new entrants to the party, senior vice president, Yudhvir Sethi said their inclusion in the BJP has strengthened the land of Pandit Prem Nath Dogra.
“Their joining the BJP is reflective of the fact that people of Jammu and Kashmir have accepted that BJP is their only political solution,” Sethi said and asked the new entrants to renew their pledge to work selflessly, in tandem, for the society and this great nation.
Speaking on the occasion, district president Jammu Vinay Kumar Gupta said BJP’s missions of ‘good governance’ and the implementation of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwaas’ have changed the face of political inclusiveness in the region.
Among those present on the occasion were general secretary, Kuldeep Kandhari, Mandal president, Praveen Kerni, Minority Morcha general secretary, Parvez Malik, Rajesh Dogra, Asif Gill, Subedar (Retd) Gurcharan Singh, Charanjeet Majotra and Harvinder Singh.
