UDHAMPUR, Dec 19: Residents of Chenani, Kud, Sudhmadev, Mantali and various other adjoining areas met CGM, BSNL, RK Koul and urged for opening of BSNL Counter at Chenani.
The deputation led by vice President, CCI, Ram Saroop Gupta and Rajesh Gupta, Ex-president, Beopar Mandal, Chenani met CGM and apprised him about the problems being faced by the people of the above said areas.
Most of the people use landline phones and they have to come all way to Udhampur to deposit their bills, they added.
CGM gave a patient hearing to their demand and assured that within two months a BSNL counter will be opened at Chenani for public convenience.
