SRINAGAR, Apr 21: Former Union Minister and PCC president, Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz listened to the problems of the people during his visit to Tangmarg area today.
Prof Soz accompanied by G N Monga-MLC, Mohd Amin Khan and Aftab Ahmed Beigh visited Sonem-Kunzar area of Tangmarg today to condole the death of the mother of a senior Congress leader of the area. During his visit the MP also listened to the problems of the local people and assured to take up the same with the concerned agencies. The main issues projected by the people included bad condition of roads, lack of electricity infrastructure, lack of foot paths and power cuts.
The PCC president hoped that the concerned officers will take note of the issues of the people of this area and do the needful. He also sanctioned funds for the transformer, drains and the fencing of a local public park out of his MP LAD Fund.
