MENDHAR,Mar 20: The people from one community including many members of Beopar Mandal, Mendhar held protest against the CAPD authorities alleging that nearly 1439 names of 66 families from minority community have been deleted from the NFSA data/ lists prepared by the local authorities.
The people from one community led by Beopar Mandal president Parveen Kumar Sawhney, SD Sabha members and traders held protest against the CAPD and Revenue authorities and alleged that nearly 66 families from minority have been deleted from the new lists prepared by the Patwaris and CAPD officials for getting ration under new NFSA. They described it as conspiracy against minorities and demanded that action be taken against the officials responsible for it.
Later, the protesting people brought the matter to the notice of SDM Mendhar who directed the Tehsildar and TSO concerned to look into the matter and make necessary correction after verifying the names.
