RAJOURI, Sept 17: The people held strong protest demonstration at Kheora near power house, after a 7-year-old boy was crushed to death under a tractor trolley here today.
The mishap took place when Musharaf Hussain, son of Abid Hussain, resident of Kheora was crossing road. He was crushed under tractor trolley No. JK02AN/ 9775. The injured boy was rushed to Rajouri hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. The police registered a case and started investigation.
The locals blocked the road and held protest demonstration for about 40 minutes. They demanded arrest of the driver and strict action against him. Later, DySP Hq rushed to the spot and assured people to take action against the accused.
