KATHUA , June 15: The irate residents of Ward No 14 Kathua protested today against the Kathua Municipal Council for its failure in depleting the stacked water from streets in the area.
The protesters including men, women and children raised slogans against the Municipal Council authorities and said the total insanitation prevails in the Ward. They alleged that the accumulated water in the streets can lead to spread of epidemic in the area and alleged that Municipal authorities are playing with the lives of people.
They alleged that water even makes way to their compounds and the houses creating health hazards and nuisance.
