POONCH, Apr 4: Elected representative along with general public of Block Loran and three Panchayats of Arai village staged protest against Power Development Department for power cuts during prayer times and Sehri/Iftari time as well.
After meeting of Sarpanches and public of these areas in Loran, they staged protest against the PDD authorities. They were shouting slogans against the concerned authorities. Later, a delegation met Naib Tehsildar Loran to bring the issue in the notice of administration.
Sarpanch Plera Ajaz Tantray, Sarpanch Arai Peeran, Aslam Tantray and Sarpanch Arai Malkan, Aslam Malik said that people of our area are suffering since long due to curtailment of power especially during the time of keeping fast and offering Namaz, but nobody is listening to us even after bringing the issue in the notice of concerned department.
Naib Tehsildar Loran, Mohd Azam after listening the delegation said that he has already taken up the matter with concerned department and soon the problem will be redressed.
